About Me

Hello, I thought I'd introduce myself so you can put a face to the business. I'm Isla and I started IMercer Marketing earlier this year. I have two kids, who are 2 and nearly 1, and I wanted to create something that allowed me to have a greater work/life balance while still being able to do what I love, marketing!

I graduated from Edinburgh uni in 2012, and since then have worked for a start-up tech company in London, the global team of a whisky and gin distillery, a brewery and a marketing and design agency. So I have experience across a broad spectrum of industries.

I love creating marketing strategies and analysing all areas of a business - its customers, its sales routes and its opportunities - to determine what marketing activities will best work for them.

In my spare time, I ran a beer blog for over 10 years and have been lucky enough to have been on multiple press trips, been a judge at the Scottish Beer Awards and World Whisky awards and hosted beer/whisky and gin tastings.

I currently have space for some new clients, and I'm always on the lookout for awesome freelancing partners (especially in the design and web building world) so please do get in touch for a chat!
